Greeting from Europe Taking into account the development of cogeneration in Turkey, the place that cogeneration takes as an bridge between conventional electricity production and the production of energy from renewable sources, 1 make the compliments to this initiative far a new magazine called " Cogeneration World & Renewable Energy" . in many European countries investment in cogeneration stagnates, but in Turkey there are large prospects. in the discussion in Europe about prospects of cogeneration we can say that Turkey is a most promising country far the development of cogeneration. There is a shortage of electricity, there are investments in distributing gas, the people are realizing that saving on energy contributes to the environmental conditions. in this climate there is alsa a legislation from the Turkish government which supports the cogeneration in Turkey. 1 alsa like to congratulate the Turkish Cogeneration Association upon this initiative which will greatly contribute to their promotional activities. 1 wish them all lots of succes with this publication.
